Media Personality & Author Abiola Abrams
hosts and curates a monthly sexy storytelling series at Madame X. The Kiss & Tell Live Revue's 10-12 specially selected
readers and performers include a range of the best talent from New
York Times bestselling authors and top bloggers to comics, burlesque
dancers, sex educators. Each month one exemplary person is honored for their work. The first was erotica filmmaker Candida Royalle, the
next was Disney author Deborah Gregory and the current is bestselling author Stephen
Elliott. The live show, like AbiolaTV, is executive produced
by Kristal Mosley. Giveaways of products, books and DVDs are presented by sponsors and the readers, and each show has an exclusive
Lip Gloss Bar presented by Kimberly Riley of FSL Cosmetics.
WHAT
Abiola's Kiss & Tell Live Revue is a bold, fun, and over the top reading and performance
series. Readings are about love, sex, dating and relationships; and at times literary previews like Anna David and
Rachel Kramer Bussel presented. Some may be erotica stories or erotic performances -- which can at times
get quite spicy, like Mo Beasley's poetry duo with a belly dancer or Renair Amin's performance
with her girlfriend and a vibrator. Others can be informative, like Eyal Feldman's Boy Butter lube presentation
or Yolanda Shoshi Shoshana's mini Modern Courtesan lesson. Most are comedic adventures in dating like Nando
Rodrguez's Garfield story or Twanna Hines' Funky Brown Chick letter to an anonymous celebrity's
penis. The combination of sex and comedy is one that audiences are surprised and entertained by. And if a performer is too
spicy or too bland for your storytelling tastes, ride with them for 5 minutes and there's another taking the stage to win
your heart.

WHEN
Abiola's Kiss & Tell Live Revue premiered
on December 15, 2009, and the bawdy showcase takes place on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. There is always an amazing crowd
and the series is slated for now to run for one year. Currently the event is free with $5 champagne cocktails. In New York
City you really can't beat that!
WHY
Abiola Abrams was hosting a short film competition show on BET when VH1 tapped her for their reality
series Tough Love. At the same time, her debut novel DARE (Simon & Schuster) about love
and heartbreak was a pop hit and she had an advice column in the national urban weekly newspaper RollingOut.
NOW Abiola Abrams hosts a popular web show (Abiola's Kiss & Tell
TV) focused on love where she has interviewed celebs from LL Cool J to Ryan Leslie. In addition she
has a top Sex & Relationships Celebrity column on Examiner.com. Her writing and videos on love, lifestyle and inspiration
are syndicated across numerous sites on the web.
The goal of Abiola's Kiss &
Tell Movement is to inspire open conversations around relationships and sexuality. At a time
where black women are being told that love possibilities for them are dead; and while AIDS and HIV numbers continue to rise
for women of color, this is a wonderful thing.
